The brand...
Babelicious is a fresh, fun, contemporary baby and childrens decor brand. The brand was designed specifically for the style conscious parent, the mom that is tired of the fluffy stereotype or simply the mom who wants something bold, bright and beautiful!
Babelicious consists of linen, furniture and decor accessories for baby, toddler and tween. The idea is that the brand offers a ‘complete room experience’, from linen to furniture, through to wall canvases and perspex lettering. From mobiles to soft character toys. Exclusive bags and even a short story book has been compiled, motivated by each design. All elements compliment each other.
Our linen is made from 100% cotton percale, 200 thread, the finest imported and local fabrics and high quality print. All of which is designed, printed and manufactured in South Africa. There are 15 unique designs to choose from. Each design is available for both baby and toddler and also tween. All ranges are available in sets containing between 8 -11 items, with extra items sold separately. Our furniture is made from sustainably sourced solid wood, with the use of 100% solvent-free non-toxic paint and sealants, adhering to the strictest quality and safety standards. The range features contemporary design, superior craftsmanship and high quality finishes.

Inspirations...
Babelicious is about two moms, who are passionate about their children and wanted to create something bold, something fresh and completely unique!
After realising a lack of creativity and design in the industry and discouraged with the same limited selections for their own children, the concept of Babelicious was born. The prospect of designing a unique brand, clearly identifiable and distinctive in its design style and quality; inspired them, and after many months and very long hours of conceptualising and designing, the exciting dream became a reality.

Behind the brand...
Behind the brand is Amanda du Plessis and Jenny Evert.
Amanda is the conceptual designer and designer of the brand and products. She is mother to a beautiful daughter; who was the initial inspiration and driving force behind the idea. With a background in graphic design and over 15 years experience, coupled with her passion for exquisite contemporary children’s products, the design of the new product range came to life.
Jenny is the company accountant and financial executive. Devoted mother of three, she shares the same passion for children and creative children’s products. Jenny has 17 years bookkeeping and accounts experience. She has a natural flair for sewing and shares the same passion for unique children’s products. Jenny is in charge of the production of the linen and toys and plays an active part in innovative new product design; alongside Amanda.
